Research content

Developments in the world of IT infrastructure are rapid. New innovations are added daily. Especially in 24/7 critical environments, organisations want to keep up with technological advances.

Take Hybrid Cloud developments, for example. According to research institute Gartner, 85 per cent of organisations will use Hybrid Cloud services by 2025, as opposed to 20 per cent in 2020. Such changes make technology a crucial part of business strategy. Not least because the developments often involve large investments. But the choices made now also determine future success. It is up to the CIO to ensure that management makes the right choices now. Fortunately, the CIO can count on a team of IT experts led by the IT manager.

Technological developments raise interesting questions, such as; To what extent does the IT manager monitor the IT strategy? How is it determined which innovations will be of value to the organisation in the future? Has a roadmap been drawn up? Where is the organisation's data stored? And do organisations have the right knowledge and expertise to make a sustainable development change in IT?

To gain insight into such issues, Conscia Cloud is conducting an exploratory benchmark study. This research focuses on the question: How do IT teams ensure that organisations make future-proof choices?

Participation in this survey will provide you with inspiration for (further) embedding digital strategy within the organisation and give you insight into where your organisation stands in this area compared to your fellow managers.
